For those seeking check rides, from private pilot to multi-engine ATP’s, Joey “Gordo” Sanders is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner(DPE) and conducts check rides onsite at Sanders Aviation.

Rotor Transition Training Requested *

VA approved courses for tuition reimbursement include the ATP-CTP and all 141 flight training courses except private pilot. The ATP Accelerated Preparation Course IS NOT a VA approved course.

Do you intend to seek GI Bill reimbursement under the licensing and certification provision for the cost of a practical or written test?

GI Bill tuition reimbursements do not cover the cost of the practical test or written tests; however, beneficiaries may submit a personal claim to the VA for the cost of any practical or written tests. This claim is solely between the student and the VA. Our staff will provide amplifying information and guidance.

IACRA FTN #

All applicants are required to use the FAA's Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application (IACRA) at https://iacra.faa.gov. Please provide your FTN # after completing your IACRA application. Students requiring a paper application will require a $50 processing fee.

Primary Training Start Request *

ATP Practical Course requires a 4 day commitment.

Alternate Training Start Request *

Every attempt will be made to accommodate your primary date request; however, please include an alternate date that you would be able to begin training.

Preferred Training Location *

Students enrolled in the Professional Airline Pilot Career Path or traditional airplane single engine courses may train at either training facility. Students seeking advanced multi-engine courses, students desiring to use VA Benefits, and Liberty University FTA students will be required to train at our Jasper, Alabama facility.
