A Part 141 Certified Course

In order to fly for compensation or hire, a pilot must obtain a Commercial Pilot Certificate.  During your commercial pilot training you will return to the basic rigors of flying, building a significant amount of solo flight time in addition to the required dual flight instruction. The Sanders Flight Training Center Commercial Pilot Course is a Certified FAA Part 141 Training Course which ensures your experience will be structured, efficient, accountable, and fun!  Full-time student pilots immersed in the Sanders Flight Training Center Commercial Rating Course can earn their Commercial Pilot Certificate in as little as 3 Months.

During your course of instruction you will enjoy ground and flight lessons that will guide you through Federal Regulations pertaining to commercial pilot limitations and privileges, aeronautical decision making and judgement, navigation and operations within the national airspace system, and the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.

At the conclusion of your Commercial Pilot training you will be eligeable to begin your training as a Certified Flight Instructor, or begin an exciting career in corporate aviation.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Private Pilot Certificate
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Meet FAA Medical Requirements
  • US Citizen with proof of citizenship

Students may begin private pilot training at age 16; however, they must be 17 years of age or older at the time of graduation
Select the highest level of training you would like to attain. Commercial pilots and above are able to fly for compensation or hire.
Sanders Flight Training Center strongly recommends that every attempt be made to be a full time student. Onsite lodging is available. Full time students complete training sooner and in most cases have considerably better performance when compared to part time students. Part time students may take considerably longer to complete their training depending on the individual student's commitment and amount of time between lessons.
