Delta ATP-CTP Course
An ATP Certification Training Program (ATP-CTP) is the first step toward earning your Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and launching your career with a major airline.
At Sanders Flight Training Center, our FAA-authorized Delta ATP-CTP Course is conducted in partnership with Delta Aircrew Training Center (DATC) in Atlanta, GA. Students receive world-class instruction from Delta Professional Services (DPS) instructors—all of whom are current Delta simulator instructors or retired Delta captains—ensuring a training experience rooted in real-world airline operations.
The program includes both academics and simulator training using some of the most advanced full-motion simulators in the world, giving students hands-on experience and valuable exposure to Part 121 air carrier procedures. Upon completion, you'll be eligible to take the FAA ATP (ATM) Written Exam, then return to Sanders in Jasper, AL for final ATP practical preparation and check ride.

SFTC ATP-CTP Course
The Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP-CTP) is a required first step toward earning your ATP Certificate and flying for a Part 121 airline.
At Sanders Flight Training Center, our FAA-certified ATP-CTP Course is led by SFTC instructors and conducted under our Part 141 certificate. The academic portion of the course takes place onsite at our Jasper, AL campus, providing students with foundational knowledge in airline operations and advanced systems.
Following academics, students travel to FedEx’s Air Operations Training Center (AOTC) in Memphis, TN, for simulator training in world-class full motion simulators. This hands-on experience immerses students in real airline procedures while offering opportunities to network with industry professionals and gain insight into Part 121 air carrier operations.
All instructors for this course are current or retired major airline captains and first officers, bringing real-world expertise to every phase of training. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the FAA ATP (ATM) Written Exam and return to Sanders in Jasper for final ATP check ride preparation.

The Military to ATP Transition Course is designed specifically for military pilots who are ready to complete their ATP practical check ride and transition into commercial aviation.
At Sanders Flight Training Center, we offer a comprehensive, career-focused training program tailored to military aviators who have already completed the ATP-CTP course, passed the FAA ATP written exam, and meet the fixed-wing military flight time requirements for ATP or Restricted ATP certification.
Our local FAA Examiners and experienced SFTC staff have deep knowledge in military competency evaluations and will guide you through every phase of preparation.
